In Memory of Luke Frederick, our Beloved Friend & Referee.

September 9, 2020

Dear U.S.V.I Soccer Association Family:

It is with heavy hearts that we inform you of the death of one of our Founding Officers, Colleague, Friend, Mentor, Administrator and Referee, LUKE FREDERICK.  Luke was found at home deceased,  on September 06,  2020. He shared his love of sports with children at The St. Croix Boys and Girls Club for many years. He coached and refereed baseball  as part of a long sports career that started in the 1960’s. He was passionate about soccer, spending lots of his free time mentoring young Soccer referees.  As a prominent figure at AYSO and School Soccer Leagues, he positively impacted the lives of many youth in our community.   We will all miss him more than words can express. He was not just our colleague and friend but our family as well.

We will announce details regarding the memorial service as we hear more from Luke's family.
